Jo`s Restaurant in Taft

Loretta is the nicest server during my visit to Taft. Great service and food.

I enjoyed my meal. I ordered a chicken sandwich with home fries and a large orange juice. I payed no more than $14.

Cheap meal big portions. Just what you would expect in a small town restaurant.

Great service, very sweet wait staff. Exactly what you'd think as far as the food is concerned ... a good 'ol american grease pit! The store could use some updating, but the ambiance isn't exactly wrecked by crappy tile.

Service slow, cramped tables & food is not as good as it was years ago. Breakfast & Lunch only, no Dinner.

My wife and I went there for breakfast and ordered the scramble eggs with bell pepper special. It was nasty, the worst scramble i've ever tasted. Bell peppers tasted like pickled peppers it was like eating eggs with vinegar pickles. I had the breakfast burritos before and they are 80% potatoes. So not impressed at all. Great local hang out for old men though.

Very expensive they charge you for every refill that goes for coffee chicken strips and french fries are over $10. Went there for biscuits and gravy and some hash browns and my children had some fries and cost us $30 way too expensive outrageous

This place is awesome. I was able to miss the rush, which I hear can cause a wait in the morning. The food is worth it though. I got the simple eggs and bacon breakfast with coffee. My honey got the ham and eggs breakfast with biscuits and gravy. I tried everything and I have ZERO complaints... which is not common for me. The staff is very friendly and pays attention to special requests. Everything was cooked perfectly, and as ordered. All food came out hot; however, the plates were not hot.. indicating our food didn't sit under a heat lamp. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. I will ABSOLUTELY be returning.

Jo’s is GREAT PLACE!!!!! It is/has a Historic/Nostalgic feel to it and great food. BUT..... they’re raising their prices and that’s just not a good addition.

I wish I could give this place a better rating. The servers were nice. The restaurant homey and clean. But the food was the most bland I've ever tasted. Even the bacon and bread were lacking in flavor. I can't for the life of me figure out how that can be done.

Visted Wed, 2-6-19 for breakfast. Food was ok but the coffee...horrible! Waitress was very sweet.

Nice servers! My husband ordered a chili-size, chili was homemade and very tasty. The fries were very crispy and really good. I was jealous but grateful he shared. I ordered shredded beef tacos and they were okay. I should've ordered the beef plate with gravy, which is one of their specials, as I saw the plate being served at another table and looked delicious. The portions were more than enough. I told my husband that chili-size was worth another 2 hour drive!!

Great food and fast service

I love this spot! They give fantastic food, their menu is large, The chief cook in that place is well trained, I love a lot trying all their dishes. The food is always fresh, the service towards the customers is nice. I often eat in this place and I not even once was unhappy. I highly recommend it.
